Beer selection is nice and a flight is a good way to try out a few before committing to a pint.
Appetizer and main food options have all been good so far. The burgers and sliders are classic options.
The staff is always energetic and welcoming. This point was particularly pleasant when we fell back on the Onion after a walk-out-after-receiving-a-cold-shoulder-move-from-the-wait-staff-at-Ruins experience. ...but I ramble on.
Cheers to the Onion! It may seem a cliche option at times, but there's a reason they've been sticking around and will continue to do so. -

Loved the beer options and loved that you could get an 8 oz pour. So why 3 stars? The food was the definition of average and the prices seemed a little higher than warranted.
Not bad, but nothing special either. 3.5 stars sounds about right. -

Honestly, I haven't eaten at the Onion in years.
It was always good. I moved to the Seattle area. Back in Spokane for a visit, I asked around for a good lunch spot while downtown shopping. The Onion.
We enjoyed everything from the moment in the door. Service was on point & food was excellent!!!

We've been here a couple of times and the food is always delicious. The best dining experiences that we have had here have been when Travis was our server - he's personable, polite and very attentive. Travis knows how to read his customers. He gives space when needed and when you look up because you need something, he appears. He's a genuine guy and we will be sure to ask for him on our next visit!

Came here after reading reviews and seeing it was only a few blocks from our hotel. Absolutely wonderful! Run don't walk! Everything was so fresh and the staff are great! Get the bacon wrapped mozzarella stuffed onion rings for starters.
